With years of working experiences across Europe, Australia and Asia, Chef Barry Quek pays homepage to his Singaporean roots while introducing modern European cuisine reimagined with Singaporean influences and flavours at Whey.
This restaurant is committed to supporting local farms and businesses and aims to reduce food waste by aiming to harness the entirety of each ingredient.
This ambition is reflected in the restaurant’s name, Whey, as a by-product of the cheese-making process that is transformed into an essential seasoning.

Whey’s Signature Set for Two
Featuring the restaurant’s iconic “Bak Kut Teh” New Territories Pork Rib and Curry Laksa Konjac Rice, Whey’s Signature Set for Two (HK$688) is specially crafted by Chef Barry Quek and his team.
It also includes Whey’s Brioche with Buah Keluak emulsion and Pandan Cheesecake that further satiate your cravings for Singaporean flavours.
Singaporean Sharing Set for Two
Singaporean Sharing Set for Two (HK$488) highlights the flavours of Singapore with Grilled Black Cod Sambal, Beef Rendang, Rojak Salad and Kaya Profiterole, with rice included.
Cereal Fried Chicken
Top off your meal with Whey’s savoury Cereal Fried Chicken as an add on.
Inspired by the classic dish, Cereal Prawn, this is available in a small portion of 4 pieces (HK$158) and a full portion of 8 pieces (HK$288) served with housemade Sambal mayonnaise.

How does Whey’s takeaway/delivery food look like?
All main courses with separated condiments are carefully vacuum packed to ensure the utmost hygiene standards. You can reheat the items easily before tucking them in.

Pickup and Delivery: Monday to Sunday 17:00 to 19:00
Order cut-off time: 14:00
Delivery is available at HK$100 between Kennedy Town and Happy Valley areas.
An extra charge of HK$100 will apply to areas outside of the standard delivery zone in Hong Kong Island.
Whey does not offer delivery to Kowloon and New Territories.
Can I still dine-in?
Yes, but only for lunch – Whey is currently open from Monday to Sunday 12:00 to 17:30.
Dinner service is suspended till further notice due to the government’s latest social distancing measures.
