New Weekend Italian Brunch Menu at Ramato in Sheung Wan


‘Ramato’ is named after the renowned ramato tomato in Italy, a round and delicious tomato type that grows on branches in the Puglia region.

Since its re-opening in early May 2022, Ramato has been serving up classic southern Italian dishes coupled with traditional cocktails for happy hour aperitivos and relaxing Italian dining at Sheung Wan.

To keep you coming back for more, Ramato has just launched its new weekend brunch menu starting from 12pm-3pm (last order at 2pm) on weekends and public holidays.

This new weekend brunch menu is developed by Chef Antimo of Estro and Ramato’s new Head Chef, Matteo Capripoli.

New Weekend Italian Brunch Menu


Starting at HK$448+10% per guest, this brunch menu includes three dishes that feature Antipasti, Pasta & Secondi, and Dolci.

For the antipasti selections to share, you can choose from a total of 5 types of antipasti such as Mixed Italian Cold Cuts served with fried dough, Burrata Cheese with Camone Tomato & Basil, and Beef Carpaccio served with rocket salad.


For Pastas and Secondi plates, you can select from a total of seven dishes, including homemade Mezze Maniche with carbonara sauce, guanciale, and pecorino cheese, the signature Ramato Tomato Sauce Spaghetti with basil, Grilled M5 Australian Wagyu Rib-eye (300 grams per person) served with grilled asparagus for an additional +HK$298 per person, Roasted Spaghetti with fresh Mediterranean herbs, Grilled XXL King Prawn with fresh Mediterranean herbs (2pcs) for an additional +HK$168; and Roasted Spring Chicken with mashed potatoes and French beans for an additional +HK$128.


Ramato offers a pair of traditional Italian desserts to share that includes Sicilian Cannolo with ricotta and pistachio and Vanilla Panna Cotta with mixed berries.

How much does it cost?

Ramato’s weekend brunch starts from HK$448+10% per guest.

Any free-flow drinks?

To enjoy free-flow drinks at Ramato’s weekend brunch, you can choose from three optional drinks packages, each lasting two hours and costing an additional HK$320.

The drinks packages include Prosecco, House White & Red, House Spirits, Peroni Beer, and soft drinks.

When is the weekend brunch available?


You can enjoy the weekend brunch at Ramato every weekend and public holidays from 12pm to 3pm (last order at 2pm).

Who is Chef Alex Dilling?👇🏼
Alex Dilling @adills1 was previously the Executive Chef of two stars Michelin, The Greenhouse, in London.
He honed his culinary skills under masters of French gastronomy and icons, @alainducasse and @helenedarroze while being mentored and guided by the esteemed Didier Elena and @cheftonyesnault.
With his constant achievements of creating and maintaining Michelin stars throughout his culinary journey - from Adour and @caviarrusse in New York to @helenedarrozeconnaught and @thegreenhouselondon - Chef Alex Dilling opened his very first standalone @alexdillingcaferoyal in Sep 2022.
Since its launch, @alexdillingcaferoyal has been highly sought-after by local and international food connoisseurs for his luxurious and bold interpretation of French classics. 
It recently achieved two Michelin stars in late Mar 2023.
Thanks to the 2-day collaboration with @chefkirk_w at @jaanbykirk, fine dining lovers in Singapore got to try some of his dishes without having to travel to London.
It was also my first time trying Guest Chef Alex Dilling’s dishes.
😌 I love how the menu is built up with @chefkirk_w’s light and ethereal flavours and @adills1’s bold yet sophisticated style coming together harmoniously through each alternating course.
It was a gastronomic treat for my palate & senses.
🤩 My most unforgettable dish of this lunch experience was undoubtedly the main course, Hunter’s Chicken, by @adills1 
Bold, distinct and refined, it was Chef Alex Dilling’s modern interpretation of the classic Hunter’s Chicken.
😯 And just when I thought the experience peaked at the main course, Chef Kirk Westaway’s Pear dessert ended my lunch on a high.
Thank you @chefkirk_w @adills1 and your stellar team for this amazing lunch collab experience.
Definitely adding @alexdillingcaferoyal to my must-visit restaurant list in London.

More than that, this Tuna Crudo course by 🌟🌟🌟 @odetterestaurant is layered with tomato jelly made with tomato consommé, basil, tarragon, chervil and a touch of parsley - This combo makes me 😍
Together with the toppings of Kristal caviar that is less briny and more nutty, gold flakes and fried Japanese buckwheat gives this dish an extra edge with texture and taste.
Within these flavours, there is a hint of refreshing yuzu and green pepper that comes after.
Completed with a shot of tomato consommé with extra virgin olive oil (not in video) that is 😌 MmMm.

The first course of this collaborative dinner was with these gently poached local 🦪 oysters from Java, Indonesia by @aperitifbali.
Topped with apple granita, dill emulation, ginger and drizzled with daishi vinaigrette, it has this 😃 bright and 😍 invigorating taste that makes me happy.
I hope Chef @nicvanderbeeken will put this on @aperitifbali main menu after this one-night-only dinner. 😁
