I just came back from the media preview of Lumieres Hong Kong last night. Boy, I was floored. This is Hong Kong’s first-ever light festival and it’s AMAZING.
It’s getting cooler in Hong Kong (17°C-19°C) and if you’re visiting or in town between 23-25 Nov, you’re in luck!
Lumieres Hong Kong is inspired by and in partnership with the famous Fête des Lumières de Lyon (France), one of the world’s oldest light festivals.
You can expect to see a world-class line-up of 16 local talents and international light artists who are showcasing their artwork on the landmark sites and buildings in Central, Sheung Wan and Kowloon. These lighting projections and installations are not only visually stunning but also audibly enjoyable. Isn’t this a great way to unwind after a long day at work?
There are also plenty of activities, associated events, F&B, celebrations at The Village at Chater Garden and a series of Jockey Club “Lumieres Hong Kong” Education Outreach Programme that are suitable for the young and old.
This event is free for all. Wanna find out more? Just go out and enjoy it!
